Use this checklist to prepare a furniture enquiry and understand what to confirm before ordering. Request the terms that apply to your chosen item directly from the Woodland team.
What to bring to an enquiry
- Furniture type, approximate width, depth and height.
- A room sketch and reference pictures showing your preferred style.
- Your location, floor and any delivery-access restrictions.
- Budget, quantities and desired delivery date.
Catalogue pictures help explain a design. Ask which specifications, sizes, finishes and options are available for your enquiry.
Before approving a quotation
- Dimensions and design
- Confirm overall measurements, drawings, layout, finish references and the exact items to be supplied. Ask how final measurements will be checked.
- Materials and fittings
- Request the actual material, upholstery, hardware and construction specification. Check samples where possible.
- Price and payment
- Ask for the total price, VAT treatment, any extra charges, deposit and remaining payment schedule in writing.
- Delivery and installation
- Confirm the expected schedule, delivery location, access requirements, assembly or fitting work, and any charges or exclusions.
- Changes and cancellation
- Ask when changes can be made and what conditions or costs apply to amendments, cancellation or returns before approving the order.
- Warranty and after-sales help
- Request the applicable written coverage, duration, exclusions, care requirements and contact route. Check these for the actual item you are ordering.
